Quick change abrasive discs twist on and off our disc holders with a simple half turn. The discs listed below are a premium grade aluminum oxide on a heavy fiber backing (not paper). They are available in two styles.
Standard Aluminum Oxide abrasive disc laminated to a cloth backing with Type 2 Rstyle turn-on attachment or Type 3 S roll-on attachment. Used for stock removal, finishing, deburring and blending of metal and other materials. Type 2 Rlocking disc replaces Standard Socatt or Norton's Speed-Lok and has a female attachment. Type 3 S replaces 3M Roloc and has a male attachment. Discs are available in Aluminum Oxide, Zirconia, Silicon Carbide and Ceramic material. Grits range from 24 - 400. Sizes are 1-1/2 ", 2", 3" and 4".
